Here we are at the mid-point of another television season.
American Horror Story seems to be the break-out hit, coming out of nowhere and capturing viewers' imaginations.
Comedies are doing great, especially Zooey Deschanel's quirky New Girl.
The fairy tale inspired shows Once Upon a Time and Grimm exceeded expectations and are doing very well.
The flops are many -- most notably Charlie's Angels, Prime Suspect, and The Playboy Club.
There have been other duds that didn't live up to the hype, but are still holding on -- Terra Nova is the biggest example, but there's also Pan Am.
Two and a Half Men's post-Charlie Sheen experiment with Ashton Kutcher started off strong as predicted, but then fizzled.
Another show with a strong start, Ringer, has slowed down a bit, but is still hanging on.
Other shows have built solid early fanbases: Person of Interest, The Secret Circle, Revenge, Suburgatory, The X Factor, Unforgettable, and 2 Broke Girls.
Let's see what the second half of the season has in store.
