The New York Yankees concluded HOPE Week at The New York Botanical Garden today, where Yankee greats past and present celebrated children from the Children's Alopecia Project (CAP).
It was an amazing event and I had a chance to meet Joe Girardi, Darryl Strawberry, David Wells, Alex Rodriguez, and others. I even had the chance to chat with Reggie Jackson! I told him that he's probably the big reason I'm a huge Yankees fan. My dad is a Mets fan but he took my sisters and me to see Yankee games back then because Yankee Stadium, led by Reggie Jackson's amazing heroics, was the baseball place to be.
