Elmo and Company Are Still Superstars

Back in September 2010, I wrote that my baby daughter was in love with Elmo from Sesame Street. I am happy to report that the red muppet still holds a special place in her heart. My wife and I took her to see her first theater show on Saturday, Sesame Street Live: 1-2-3 Imagine at the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
We had the special Sunny Seats Photo Pass and my little girl's jaw dropped in utter joy when Elmo and his buddy the Cookie Monster came out. After taking some pics, we spent some time in the new "Play Zone Experience" and then enjoyed the show from excellent front row seats.
Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, Abby Cadabby, Count von Count, Zoe, Bert, Ernie, and a bunch of others joined Elmo as they used the power of their imaginations to travel to Africa, the Caribbean, Mexico, and other dazzling places.
With singing, dancing, and some cool stage effects, it was a fun time. The memory of the joy on my daughter's face will stay with me forever.
