Veterans Day Movie Recommendations

Today (11/11/11) was Veterans Day, a time to recognize and honor all of those men and women in the military who sacrificed and dedicated their lives to serving our country to protect all of those liberties that we often take for granted.  If you're relaxing now as the weekend begins after a long week of work and are trying to pick a good movie to watch, either alone or with friends, family, and other loved ones, a bunch of places online have offered recommendations for films that fit the Veterans Day theme.

ScreenRant.com recommends Casablanca, Flying Tigers, Midway, The Bridge on the River Kwai, The Caine Mutiny, The Dirty Dozen, Flying Leathernecks, From Here to Eternity, The Great Escape, Mister Roberts, Patton, Stalag 17, Where Eagles Dare, Run Silent Run Deep, The Guns of Navarone, and Tora! Tora! Tora!
