Everyone knows about the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but if you're ever in New York, head up to the Bronx Walk of Fame! My dad and I strolled along the Grand Concourse checking it out after the Yankee game on Sunday (terrific game by the way -- the Yanks beat the Red Sox, Posada hit a homerun, Jeter belted two doubles, A-Rod earned a big RBI, and A.J. Burnett pitched an impressive 8 and two-thirds innings for the win!)
Notable figures from my hometown borough are immortalized in signs. There are so many Bronx success stories, and seeing their names up there is inspirational. (I would like to see even more. When will Edgar Allan Poe's name be added?)
